Do I have a viruses on my computer?

I have my norton antivirus flashing in red, telling me I have a rapidly spreading virus, a trojan horse (luder.l) I didnt update it because I have protection through sbc/dsl/yahoo %26 other virus/antivirus protection. So is this norton flasing because I didnt update it, because when I run other scans, it not picking up no viruses at all?

yeah, Norton does things like that when it's subscription runs out. That's why no one likes it anymore. Uninstall it before other strange things happen.

Unfortunately Nortons doess let some viruses through. The best thing you could do is go to http:grisoft.com and get AVG free. after you download it restart the computer and press the F* key and enter SAfe mode. Run AVG then when it has finished scanning, and you have removed the virus then restart the computer and let it load normally
Yes you have a virus.. The only way an antivirus program will work well is if you update the virus signatures as often as you can.
In my opinion, the virus is NORTON itself.... get rid of if and get yourself AVG Free...
what its telling you is it found something, you should use it weather you updated it or not, you should scan with Norton, and let it remove it, and then look on the Norton website for information on removing the Trojan.

often deleting the Trojan files themselves isn't enough they come right back unless you do some research to find the source and stop it from reinstalling.

good luck

Norton Anti-Virus is telling if you have virus but can't update, the Trojan is probably blocking it. However, there is a free anti-virus program named Ad-ware Personal SE found at download.com It's free and practically destroys the virus. If not, I suggest that you get spy bot which is at download.com as well.
Update Norton and see if it can find the virus. Else do a google search on how to get rid of it.
Norton is a virus itself, you should get some other AV.
