What are the best Antivirus(paid)?

A few days a go my pc was infected with a virus ,spyware ,maleware or something like that...I really don't know well 'cause my Norton 360 when I run the scan didn't detect it...but i know i got it 'cause an icon on the task bar apear and when I open the internet explorer an antivirus site was on the page...I try to remove it with diferent things but it didn't work and i used the last resorse destructive recovery...Now I want another antivirus(Paid) a very efective one...and I want to know the best antivirus ,maleware ,spyware protections...the best five and in order of efectiveness...excused my english but is not my main language.Thanks in advance.I'm afraid that it could happends again...it was my husband the one that was on the pc when it get infected and he didn't move a finger to resolve the problem I did everything to solve it...and from now on I want the best 'cause it was very stressful when I try to solve the problem without his help he was sleeping....Thanks again.

I have researched all anti-virus products and the best anti-virus protection is Kaspersky. Kaspersky is the best all-round anti-virus program. NOD32 is just as good if not better, it runs faster and has less software conflicts but may be more difficult to use.

The most popular free anti-virus programs (AVG and Avast) have poor detection rates (82.82%, 87.46% respectively). Norton is notoriously bloated and takes forever to perform full systems scans.
