Does Norton Antivirus Protect Against Trojan Horses?

We have Norton Antivirus Protection and I was wondering if it protects against Trojan Horses and Backdoor Files. It says we have spyware protection and firewall, but I don't know if they protect against Trojans, etc. Please help.

Does Norton Antivirus Protect Against Trojan Horses?internet security

Yes, Norton Internet Security is best. But still sometimes some viruses or trojans can get around it (it happened to me). Then you might have to use system restore on the computer (or sometimes from a disc). If you don't have a system restore disc, call the place where you bought the computer and ask them for the 800 computer manufacturer support number where you can buy one. I got one for windows XP from support in India for $11 and it came fast. You should always have a disc, because one trojan attacks the system in a way that makes you turn off system restore to fix it, then you can't use go back anymore...so you have to have a disc.
yes.
don't ever use norton antivirus use AVG antivirus or Avast antivirus or NOD 32
Hi, I am a norton fan user since before I have my own computer. But this year, there's lots of new viruses expanding from the internet specially Trojans鈩?as you said. For this, some of the new viruses cannot block or detect by Norton even its latest version. By exploring, what I recommend for you is to use "AVG Anti-virus or "AVAST Anti-virus" utility. This is totally great!!! surely it will catch or block the latest trojans. One good thing for this is, this softwares are absolutely free. You can also update your virus definition from time to time to make your antivirus defines new viruses as well.
