if you go to your btyahoo page and then download centre(just below the bar with your name on) or click on my account and then product and services and on the right you can download your norton by selecting the anti virus and following the prompts it will tell you whether it is free etc..
the norton from bt is not like the norton you usually see it is a lot better and is free if your an option 2 and above user with bt..
it will tell you if you have to uninstall anything to install the norton and if you have enough memory for the norton to run on your pc/laptop
it takes a while to install and sometime it look as if its froze but i would give it about an hour to setup and for the updates...
you can install this on up to 5 pcs/laptops in your home..

norton is horrible don't waste your time with it. if your buying one go with NOD32 other wise just get one of the free ones
