I have Norton Antivirus 2007, but it has been really slowing down my computer, i don't like it. What is a good one that doesn't mess up your CPU usage or doesn't slow your computer down, but protects your computer from all different kinds of spyware and viruses???

Norton is one of the worst programs you can use, no offense. I would recommend AVG Free. First of all it is free, second of all it is really good; it doesn't slow down your computer, or as you said, it doesn't mess up you CPU usage. Secondly you can get AVG Anti-Spyware Free, for your spyware protection. But, if you want to spend the money get the full version of AVG.

I think Norton is the best Antivirus software in the market. But it is true that it will make the comp go very slow. It will use most of the resources there in the comp. If you have a comp with very good configuration then I suggest you to go for Norton. But as you said Norton is making your system go slow the next best will be McAfee. It is also good and will not slow down the system.
