it has to protect against hackers too. alota antivirus dont do that unlike Mcafee. however, Mcafee slows my computer down.

Best protection against hackers and viruses is to either not have internet, or better yet, not be attached to the power grid.

Outside of paranoia, one should install multiple spyware detection and anti-virus software packages. Installing both a hardware and software firewall is important too. There is no one-shot panacea. Security in layers.

Not using Windows is the first best way you can protect yourself and your computer, followed by using a good firewall to protect against outside attempts to access your computer.
