Yahoo antivirus feature will not scan-is in off mode on screen and if clicked on and scan now it won

if i click scan now it flips back to off mode.

ps all other functions seem to be working on the protection plan.

There must have been a driver configuration mishap during your install, probably just a simple bit error. I recommend uninstall and re-install. I know that it is a hassle, but the program will work fine afterward.

Go start / control panel / click on add or remove programs and remove the software.

For re-install: go start / my computer / c:drive or local disk / program files / find the file program folder and inside click on setup or install file.
