Multiple antivirus programs?

i THINK i am increasing protection by having :

Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal

CCleaner

AVG Free edition

Any other thoughts???

Multiple antivirus programs?antivirus scan

you cant have more than 1 antivirus you can have more than oner anti-spyware thow you need to keep it to ONE anti-virus and ONE firewall if u have one. if you have 2 anti-virus systems they will conflict with each other same with 2 firewalls

Multiple antivirus programs?computer security

Hmm you should also get a firewall there are a lot of free ones on the web just go to google and serach free firewall download and sorry i could not provide you a link.
Neither Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal, nor CCleaner

are any kind of an anti-malware program. They will do nothing to protect you. They are strictly clean-up utilities.

For complete security for you computer, you would need to add (in addition to your AVG anti-virus):

1. For your Firewall..........(Always use only 1 software firewall)

A decent free firewall that is PC Tools Firewall Plus. One can either choose "Normal User Mode" Or "Expert User Mode"'depending on the desired detail of alerts and application custom rules.

It is one of the few free firewalls that will work (and work well) on Vista as well as XP and 2000.
