Norton Antivirus activation after it's already been activated?

I have Norton Antivirus and I activated it a couple of months ago and I know that it is not expired, but just today it said I need to activate it. But when I push the "fix now", it says that it cannot connect to the internet, but I am connected. Now all my virus protection is off. How can I fix this?

If you want to protect your system from viruses, and keep your system running smoothly, I highly recommend you don't use Norton's. Norton's is not rated high in detection / removal of viruses

by those who test these programs (av-comparitives., virus.gr, etc)
