the best anti virus and internet security of 2008 is kapersky internet security 2008... it tracks down anything wrong in the computer and i mean anything ... only downside is slow computer scanning but the results are great

There is no complete protection from one Antivirus program. But the best in my opinion are Kaspersky and Eset Nod32. I use Eset, and it is really light on the system (doesn't slow down your computer), and it also protects you very well. Kaspersky is very good at detecting viruses, slows your pc up a bit, though not significantly. I've used Kaspersky before Nod32 to get rid of a virus a caught last year.
