Norton Antivirus 2006 Virus Definitions: Error!! Help ASAP?

I have Norton Antivirus 2006, and it was working smoothly untill recently. It says my virus protection has not been updated recently, but whenever I click fix now, it says all the current updates are installed, and right after I hit finish it has the error message again. I really need help...

One thing to check is:

Make sure that the computer's date is correct, and run LiveUpdate again

On the Windows taskbar, right-click the clock, and then click Adjust Date/Time.

Select the correct month, year, and day.

Be sure to check the year. An incorrect setting for the year is the most frequent cause of this problem.

Click Apply, and then click OK.

Run LiveUpdate.

Download all updates.

Restart the computer.

Run a full system scan.
I think thatyour software hasto be updated. The antivirus software can be uninstalled and then resinstalled. Otherwise do a system restore. More
