Windows Vista Premium and Business claim to have better security protection, so is it necessary to have an antivirus programme installed like Norton, McAfee, etc?
Is an antivirus programme required with Vista?internet security software
while they do have better security protections, there are still the possibilities of viruses which the OS is unable to detect. you'd be wise to install an antivirus program. Windows even recommends it.

It might be a good idea to get something like McAfee or Norton. Getting Internet Security is good as those programs specialize in it. I don't know if Vista is superb with Internet Security.
