Please actually help me with this PLEASE! i installed CA Antivirus but i realised it is really bad..

and i am trying to uninstall it. but everytime i go to a message comes up saying ERROE E9030 cannot uninstall. please tell me how to uninstall it. im not a computer wizz either so try explain it in lamence terms!! plese help guys im freaking out cos ive no protection now and other antivirus software wont install until CA AntiVirus is uninstalled?

Restart you computer in safe mode and try to uninstall that way. To enter safe mode, press f8 while the computer is booting. You'll be given a few options one of which is safe mode. After entering safe mode, go into add/remove programs and uninstall CA.

You may want to use another AV Software package. The one I really like and have used for a couple of years (and is absolutely free) is avast!. It's very fast and unintrusive.

OK, this is a situation which just burns my bacon! I am so sick of security software enticing users to download and install their stuff, and not explaining how difficult it is to get rid of it. How if you don't properly rid your system of it that you are left with a holy mess, and often users will even think it is properly removed, install a new product with firewall and/or anti-virus and crash their systems, or end up with an unstable system which is not properly protected because of the conflicts between the programs.
