Antivirus, antispyware, firewall help?

I have:

Avira as my antivirus.....and I cant update it...so I want to know how to fix it or otherwise change to another.

Spyware Doctor

PC Tools firewall plus

ThreatFire (spyware and virus protection)

I think I have to delete one of these because they might be having a conflict...

Threat Fire is like the one I want to eliminate....you think is a good guess??

PLease tell me .....AVIRA antiVirus Personal Edition classic is GOOD???

I recommend you to uninstall ThreatFire.

Avira AntiVir was a good Anti-Virus, but now AVG is better.

I think your right, your Avira is conflicting with your ThreatFire. Try uninstalling your Avira and see how things go. You should only have one antio-virus tool, you can and are advised to have multiple anti-spyware programs and of course one firewall. Don't like Avira, never used threatfire but has decent reviews. I used Avast, it's worked real well for me.
