The onlineline Protection automatically gave Norton Antivirus, Firewall, etc. %26 live update stuff. I don't know if I like this. Can this slow my computer? Is Norton good to have? Any suggestions?

This just happened to me also. Every few days Norton pops up to do a scan and tells me I have 1 problem but doesn't tell me or give me access to find out what it is. Then when I do a online protection scan from att there is nothing showing up. So I think Norton just shows 1 problem so we will subscripe to it. Then there won't be anything there. We have to pay if we accept it. No it hasn't slowed my comp any. I have high speed but it's not that fast to begin with. Especially with the new homepage.
