My Virus,Malware,Spyware Protection not detecting the problem!!!?

HELP!!!! Pop up warnings driving me mad?

I installed Winantivirus last week but didnt like it so I removed it. I installed AVG antivirus and spyware and today Prevx1 which states it detected the WinAntiSpyware virus and jailed it but I am still getting those pretend computer alerts stating that I have a trojan virus and to go and get virus protection. They are not pop ups as such but rather the same 3 alerts that look like 'official' computer warnings. I have run both virus protection programs 3 times each.

I presume these alerts are malware or virus. PrevX1 states it can get rid of the WinAntiSpy problems.

What else can I use to get rid of it?

Is this typical of WinAntiSpyware malware or is something else

Hmmm.

I would recommend getting Prevx1 to do a "deep" scan. When you install it only checks running processes,but you can select for it to do a full, advanced scan.

To do this:

鈥?Open Prevx

鈥?Select Advanced

鈥?Choose File Scan

鈥?Click Advanced Options

鈥?Select "Full System Scan"

鈥?UNCHECK "Only verify new files...."

鈥?Click Ok

鈥?Click Start

This deep scan can take 30minutes or so depending on the size of your computer hard drive.
