OK, so who makes the best laptop computers?

I am in the market and not very computer gifted, so I really can't decide. Also, what's the best antivirus protection program?

Hopefully you computer geniuses would be able to help me out.

As I have stated numerous times, Dell, Toshiba, Sony, etc. etc. etc. use many of the same parts in their PC / Laptops. None of them are in the business of manufacturing motherboards, processors, RAM, hard drives, LCD screens, etc. This is done by a very small number of vendors that they all their parts purchase from.

What is more important is what is the right laptop for your needs.

You can usually get a great deal from one of the electronics or office supplies stores on one of the more popular name brands when a particular model is discontinued or on clearance.

As for anti-virus software, go with Norton or Mcafee. They usually are easy to use and have auto update features to keep you protected.

As to who makes the best laptop, that is a very subjective question. You wull get a different answer from different people.

If you are not very tech savvy, I have heard that Norton 360 is very good for non-techies as if you have a problem you can do live chat with a support person.

Then you also don't have to worry about spending extra for anti-virus.
DELL.ESET NOD32 is the best antivirus.
